Koh Talu Island Resort

This small island, located not far from the coast of Bang Saphan District in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, boasts pristine and breathtaking natural beauty in every dimension.

In the past, Ko Talu was well-known among seafarers from distant lands as the gateway to the Gulf of Siam, rich in marine resources. It also served as a safe harbor for junks seeking refuge from storms. The island was home to only a few families who managed coconut plantations, while the surrounding sea provided a livelihood for local fishermen.

Today, Ko Talu has transformed into a haven for eco-tourism, where we strive to ensure that every visitor enjoys their stay, experiences the island's natural splendor, and contributes to preserving its beauty for generations to come.

Q & A
Frequency Ask
Questions

Why are accommodation packages on Koh Talu inclusive of meals and boat transfers?
Koh Talu is a secluded island with no villages or communities—home to just one resort. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, the resort provides all essential services including round-trip boat transfers, meals, and activities for every guest.

What are the sea and weather conditions like throughout the year?
The seasonal pattern on Koh Talu differs from other regions. The calm season typically spans from mid-January to October, while the monsoon season lasts from November to January. However, since the island is only a 15–20-minute boat ride from the mainland, the journey is relatively safe. Sea and wind conditions may vary daily. Even during the monsoon season, there are often calm days. You’re welcome to check the weather conditions before your trip.

Is electricity available on the island?
Electricity on the island is supplied by generators, which provide enough power for daily needs. Air conditioning is available for a comfortable night's sleep. However, the generators are turned off during two short intervals: 9:00–11:00 AM and 2:00–5:00 PM—times when most guests are out enjoying activities.

Is there mobile signal on the island?
Yes, the island has coverage from all major mobile networks, and Wi-Fi internet is also available.

Are there shops on the island?

Essential items, snacks, and beverages are available at the resort’s clubhouse. For anything else, guests can visit a 7-Eleven located just 10 minutes before the pier in Bang Saphan District.

Can I bring pets to the island?
Yes, our resort is pet-friendly! Guests are welcome to bring their pets for an additional fee. However, pet owners are responsible for ensuring their pets are well-behaved, kept on a leash at all times, and not allowed on beds. Cleanliness and safety must also be maintained throughout the stay.
